THE PPH STORY

We've now been in ownership for about 12 years, starting on Great North Rd.  We had a huge frontal area at this location, on which we had three pools, and a lot of other things like statues and furniture on display. The showroom was also very spacious.  However we only sat on this ideal site for close to four years, before having to leave..............

Sadly the property was very attractive to a new car dealership which was starting up, so suddenly the rent started escallating and we had to move on, and leave the auto-region of Gt North Rd behind.  We learned to miss it after moving 'camp' into New Lynn on Clark St. where we stayed for about 2 years.

Business was growing and this apartment sized shop proved too small and too awkward. Finally we shifted just down the road where we have been ever since, at the corner of Portage Road and Astley Avenue (on the round-a-bout).

This old building, (surrounded by trees and hardly noticed) had been left unused for years now, as it needed various work carried out on it. It used to be some sort of medical centre and we had no trouble finding any first-aid kits after we had moved into it! 

After many a renovation, and many a renovation-sale we have turned our old nurses 'cottage' into a two story building that actually -believe it or not looks quite modern. It is from here where we mastermind our plans, and provide a high standard of service, quality products and valuable advise to make sure you, our customers, are totally satisfied.
